Julie Popa is the owner and designer of Sunflower Hill Designs.  She received her B.S. in interior design in 1999 and enjoys incorporating those design principles into her quilting.  Julie founded Sunflower Hill Designs in 2001 to begin marketing her patterns and she has enjoyed developing her hobby into a profession.  In 2006 she released her self published book Beyond Tradition and A Fresh Look at Seasonal Quilts published by Martingale & Co.
